God Is Closer Then You Think
At 8:00 this morning, I found myself sitting in a classroom full of teenagers.
I’m home schooled; so why was I in a class with a bunch of kids my age?
I was taking the ACT, and I was nervous as can be. I’ve never done well on tests before no matter how long I study. My mind seems to go blank every time.
So here I sat in chair 3. My heart was pounding as I look around the classroom till at last my eyes came upon a piece of paper on the tack board. It said this... “God is closer then you think.”
I smiled and let out a sigh of relief. Thanks, Lord! I thought.
So for the next 4 hours, I diligently worked on the test. Every time I felt a new wave of fear come over me; I just remembered that little saying on the wall, and thanked the Lord.
God is closer then you think.
What a very true statement! He is closer then we think and sometimes realize. In fact, He never leaves us. There’s a verse in the Bible that says, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” He’ll never leave us (even when we do wrong) because He loves us too much. (John 3:16)

Thank you so much moriah. this really encouraged me so much. through what i am going through right now; you have really brightened up my day.
Hey my bro took the ACT on saturday too! Huh, I guess schools just have it around this time of year.
To Amy: I'm glad I'm able to encourage you, Amy. I'll continue to pray for you and everything that's going on.
To Keith: Yep! Every other month (with the exception of summer) they have the ACT going all over the US. Strange how that works out, huh? :)
Yeah I guess so. Do you think you did good on it?
To Keith: Hahahaha No. It was my first time taking the test, and I had to guess on a lot of the math and most of the science questions because I didn't understand them. I just pray that the Lord's will would be done.
To everyone reading this comment: I'll be taking the ACT again in April most likely, please pray that I will have a clear mind and that I will be able to find time to study for it. Thanks!
